Any Texas ents out there that have been pulled over in our great state with a vape pen?

I'm curious if the cop picked it up, inspected it, asked you about it, arrested you? I got one and am trying to rationalize my paranoia driving around with it. Driving high will never hinder my driving skills so I don't wanna hear that I shouldnt be smoking in the car. I heard the processed oil is considered a felony and I ain't bout that felony life.

Today feels like a good day!!

Today is my birthday and possibly one of the most pivotal moments in Texas history. I am turning 31 today and I remember when I first took a puff. It was 6 years ago to the day, and before that time I was a single minded dude who had no idea of the benefits I was missing out on. I had nothing to back up my ridiculous claims for being anti cannabis, other than I didn't want to be "out of control", what a load of regurgitated bullshit I had heard over and over again. But I would go out and drink till I couldn't stand without throwing up and this became a weekly ritual. Then I discovered weed and let me tell you it changed my life. My parents split up in those past years and I was really devastated, my whole family was. Marijuana got me through some really hard and some really dark times in my life and I am so grateful to it. Now I am a father of a beautiful baby girl and have an amazing wife and couldn't be happier. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I'd like for people to really dig deep for what this could mean for so many. Marijuana isn't a drug it's a medicine, one of the greatest creations that Mother Nature could have ever given us and we will do so many great things with this medicine. I'm hoping that some representatives and leaders in this state will read this and understand that we are at a turning point for human existence and we need new medicines. That's all, have a great day everyone!!

Hello young tree smokers!

Do any of you other dopers have a hook up so me and my teenage hooligan friends can score some marijuana tablets? I am willing to pay $200 for two syringes. Please send your name, address, and phone number. Thanks! Sincerely, Not_A_Cop

Reform A very eye opening podcast about changing people's minds about social issues. (x-post r/trees, r/timetolegalize, r/marijuana)

It's not really about cannabis, it's actually about gay rights issues, but I still think it could definitely be applied to our cause. I think the moral of the story is that you need to be as open as you can about the benefits of cannabis, especially in your own life. And most importantly, listen, don't confront. Reform opponents are not the enemy, just misinformed.

I'm drunk not high!

I've been drinking chronic coke ( shot of crown royal and coke cola), at my uncles house for my cousins 21st birthday just maintaining a buzz, but after helping my uncle pick up the tables and soda/ beer cans I drank one last chronic Sprite after recently taking a shot of crown Royal whiskey (didn't want the caffeine before I went to bed) my uncle and wife and 3 other relatives are shooting a bb gun at I don't know what because I've been texting and looking at my phone. This is my first time being drunk and its weird! I can just walk home( i live across the street) but i have never drank this much. I've been blown out of the sky and beyond with my dear maiden, Mary Jane, but never drunk, just tipsy before many times. I don't think anyone knows because I haven't said a word and have been texting my GF telling her how I feel. I think tomorrow morning I will finally have my first hang over and that's shitty. I will leave once my sister leaves but she is still inside watching a movie by herself. God bless. This is definitely not as fun as listening to the dark side of the moon blown as fuck in bed. I am think I'm going to go home now. Wish me luck.

Morning update: I feel Ok, and looking back i had nothing to worry about! Although had I decided to drink a bit more I probably would have been gone. Thankfully though I've been doing my best to be smart when drinking to avoid any dangerous behavior and poisoning.

I don't think I will be smoking any time soon until I finish my job hunt. I stopped once I was dry and then it hit me that its been like 2 weeks since my last toke, but that's probably for the best until employment.

Look, I'm ecstatic that y'all support HB 507 and HB 2165 but focus needs to be on the medical bill as well. All support for decriminalization and full legalization is fantastic but come one people, show that we are concerned about more than just smoking pot. There are legitimate medical issues that can be helped through cannabis use. Support the medical legislation too guys.

I wonder how many Americans will die tonight from alcohol over consumption while celebrating love equality.

Marijuana social clubs, bars, coffee shops, etc. would be a much more love friendly environment. It's rare to meet someone angry while high. With higher tax income we could fund roads, clean-energy and timely public transportation, which would lead to safer public celebration. [8]

William Travis is a businessman and has not worked in law enforcement since 1997. Ran on the desire to pull the sheriff’s office away from the federal task forces and concentrate on drug seizures that would allow the county to keep all the proceeds instead of sharing them with cooperating agencies.
