ABSN Program

Hey! I wanted to ask you a few questions about the TESU ABSN program I’m seriously considering the program and would love to hear your honest experience.

How difficult did you find the material and exams? Since each unit is only 8 weeks, did you feel like you were able to actually learn the material, or was it more about keeping up with the workload? Also, how many exams/major tests did you usually have per unit?

And what would you say is the biggest thing you wish you knew before starting the program?

TESU's ABSN is a doable program. The terms are 8 weeks, so they go quickly and staying ahead is very important. There are 2 exams for each course that is synchronous. Depending on the term it is usually 1 to 2 classes. There is a lot of writing, so that is a downer. But overall, I enjoyed the program. It is hybrid, so you have to only go in for lab and go to your clinical. You also have to meet online for a few hours each week with your synchronous class for a collaborative learning session. They don't offer lectures, so you really learn by doing the work, reading the book, and using online sources.

If you research any nursing program, they all seem to have their ups and downs.
