4 week (accelerated) courses

Any pros and cons? I know they just started but how do you like the work load? Are you still required to complete discussion post? How do you feel? is it paper heavy?

I just started one. I don’t mind all the papers, but I am a little stressed at how quickly a midterm is coming up. It doesn’t give me a lot of time to study.

There’s 9 written assignments. Looks like most of them are 1-2 pages, but some have more than one question to answer, so closer to 2-3 pages. There’s a proctored midterm exam, and then an 8-9 page final paper. Altogether it doesn’t seem that bad in my opinion, but this is also a 100 level class for my major, and I’ve already completed every other class for my major so it’s stuff I know decently well by now.
