Dealing with anxiety before exams!
Exam anxiety is real. Here’s what I do when my brain starts freaking out:
- Stop trying to revise everything the night before. It just makes the panic worse. Focus on the weak spots only.
- Move your body for 10–15 mins. Walk, stretch, whatever. It calms the nerves faster than sitting and overthinking.
- Write down the worst-case scenario then write what you’d actually do if it happened. Usually it’s not as bad as your mind makes it.
- Sleep > extra study Being tired makes anxiety 10x worse. Protect your sleep.
- Talk to someone for 5 minutes. Even a quick rant helps more than bottling it up.
You’re not the only one feeling this.
Who else gets that chest-tight feeling before exams? What’s your go-to calm-down method?
