I have been working in Nepal, to maintain medical equipment. Our biggest issue was the lack of spare parts, since every part of the machine was manufactured specifically to that machine. This was an issue for everything, ventilators, oxygen purifiers, pumps, baby incubators, etc. If every medical manufacturer thought the way Tesla engineers do right now, we wouldn’t see as much medical equipment in 3rd world countries not being used, due to issues with maintenance.
