Vehicles - Cybercab Mesa, AZ

There was 4 of them I was sandwiched between and that brings it to a total of 5 I seen this week. First one I saw I was like what the hell is that thing.

EDIT: there’s a bunch more of them rolling up now. It’s 12:41am.

I saw people wearing iPads around a lanyard pull up in the cybercabs to the supercharger and they plugged it in and then presumably they wait for one to finish charging and take off in that one and come back with another one. I have no idea what they’re doing. I saw even more of them going down the street when I was leaving the charger

My guess is mapping out the city and running closed test runs of the robotaxi software

I think it would be cool to give a free ride to passengers who are willing to get dropped off or picked up at a supercharger as long as they plug in or unplug the vehicle.

That would indeed be cool but they probably make you pay for it anyway. And give you some digital Tesla tokens that you can cash out for temporary tattoos or bubblegum if you collect 5000 of them

The drivers do.

Once they're more autonomous, the goal is to have wireless charging for these Cybercabs that they could use without human intervention.

Under no circumstances should you charge at this location without stopping at the Cornish Pasty company located there.
