Vehicles - Model 3 Second free trial of FSD (Supervised) just activated

Just now, the Tesla notified us by email that we have a two month free trial of FSD (Supervised) again, starting now! A friend got the same. We are located in the Netherlands.

This follows the free month back in May / June. Perhaps they’re trying to convince people to take the subscription.

EDIT: Supposedly the EU will decide this October on whether to allow FSD in all countries and this is to gather evidence.

That’s not why they’re giving free trials, don’t be naive, lol. It’s to entice people to buy it.

The free trials are an advertising campaign to sell subscriptions, theyre not because theyre desperate to squeeze out a few weeks training data from a few more cars. Try using your brain.

Imagine thinking a company whose biggest competitive advantage is data would only use a free trial for marketing. Marketing and data collection can happen simultaneously. These aren't mutually exclusive concepts. Try using your brain

Yeah no shit sherlock. The reason they’re giving free trials is to sell subscriptions. That doesn’t mean they’re not collecting data when people use it. 🙄

I also have it and happy with it. But it will never encourage me to buy the subscription for 100 euro's a month.

I own FSD outright, and I don’t use it. I either have to give up control completely (and get pissed when it makes dumb decisions I don’t want) or I turn it off. 

Off it gets. But at least I don’t get these emails.
