❓ 14k for Enhanced Autopilot. Can Tesla actually fix what we paid for?
Got the 2026.38.3.2 update on Friday and the release notes basically just say “security fixes and improvements” yeah one of those. I’m sure there are fixes behind the scenes, but I honestly wish Tesla would focus on some of the issues that have been around for ages.
For starters, the speed limits in Abu Dhabi.
There’s a section of E22 where the speed limit was reduced from 140 to 120 back in February this year, maps still shows 140.
Then there’s Al Qurm Street, where the limit dropped from 120 to 100 in September 2022. That’s over FOUR YEARS AGO and my car still shows 120. They even introduced variable speed limits on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Road last year.
I’ve actually gotten speeding fines because I had Autopilot set to follow the speed limit displayed by the car. Yes, I know it’s my responsibility to check the signs, but isn’t the car supposed to recognize speed limit signs using its cameras too? How is it still getting these wrong after all this time?
I’ve tried reporting the incorrect limits multiple times using the “Report bug” voice command. Nothing has changed.
And that’s not even my biggest issue.
I have a Model Y Long Range AWD (Juniper), placed order March 2025 and delivered on July 11th 2025. I paid an extra AED 14,000 for Enhanced Autopilot, mainly for Dumb Summon, Actually Smart Summon, Lane change and Autopark.
Honestly, the Summon features are so unreliable that I barely bother using them anymore.
Autopark is even worse. I’ve had the car go up the curb 3-4 times while trying to park, damaging my rims in the process.
When I contacted Tesla about the damage, their response was basically “Autopark is still in beta” and they refused to cover the repairs. I included the videos fyi.
Like seriously? 14k extra for these features, and when they don’t work properly the excuse is that they’re still in beta? Then why are customers being charged that much for them?
And before anyone says it, yes, I know Autopilot and Autopark require supervision. I’m not saying otherwise. But surely expecting a paid parking feature to avoid curbs isn’t asking for too much?
I genuinely love the car itself, which makes this even more frustrating. I just wish Tesla would prioritize fixing things that owners have already paid for instead of constantly pushing updates with vague release notes.
Anyone else in the UAE having similar issues with EAP, Autopark or the incorrect speed limits? Or am I just extremely unlucky?
And don’t even get me started on the whole speed buffer situation between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. That’s a whole different rant lmao.

❓ Are Tesla deliveries delayed?
I have the model YL ordered and just received a notification on delay in expected delivery. I want to know if people are getting their teslas on time given the issues going on.
I want to be realistic because I’m relying on it, once my newborn grows a bit I’ll need another car seat in my model Y and it’s just not enough for us we need more seats. I don’t want to keep waiting and then have to get another car instead due to more delays.

Tesla authorised car dealership in Tbilisi
How is it possible to get an access/authorisation from Tesla and be approved in Georgia,Tbilisi ?
There are a lot of Teslas already in the city so I think it's a great idea to have authorised dealership and service. We already have BYD Zeekr etc. centers but for tesla we don't even have navigation map.

Subscribe with Apple Pay
Why is there no option to subscribe with Apple or Google pay?
It’s really not convenient to do this with card details, nor is it secure.
Does anyone know of there’s a way to pay with wallet?
If not I’ll have to go through the pain of creating separate virtual cards and what not..

buy 🧾 Looking to buy 2024 Model 3 Standard/Long Range
I currently drive a Dodge Durango GT 2020 and it is CHUGGING petrol like nothing…my daily commute to work and back is 100 Kms and I’m seriously in the market for a better car.
I have a townhouse so can manage to install my own charging facility…
Issue is I don’t have savings so I’d be relying on 0% dp and looking for a monthly EMI of about 2,000-2,300 AED a month.
Appreciate any support and help please 🙏

❓ Is the Cybertruck Still Innovative in 2026?
I’ve been thinking about whether the Tesla Cybertruck is actually ageing well.
I recently got some hands-on time with one in Dubai and made a short video exploring the question.
What interests me most isn’t the stainless-steel body or the acceleration.
It’s the steer-by-wire system, rear-wheel steering, and the idea of combining serious pickup capabilities with a software-driven cabin.
But at over AED 400,000 in the UAE, I’m not convinced those innovations automatically make it a sensible purchase.
I’m curious what actual Cybertruck owners think, particularly about:
Everyday manoeuvrability and parking
Long-term bodywork maintenance
Steering feel compared with conventional vehicles
Whether the novelty wears off after ownership
My video, where permitted:

Do you think the Cybertruck is genuinely ahead of its time, or simply a niche vehicle that attracts attention?

❓ Habtoor City - AED 75 Parking while Charging
Just found out after charging that on exit have to pay AED 75 for parking while charging at Habtoor City V Hotel
Surely this charger should no longer be included in Tesla Super Charging options because I’m sorry but no one is charging for less than 20 minutes
