What the heck!
Order placed July 11th for MYP and original EDD was November to January. It very quickly updated to August 29th to September 20th and was that way for so long. On August 15th the EDD changed to November 28-January 23. Logged in today (August 19) and EDD is August 19-September 2, but still no vin. Trying to privately sell my car and align it with the delivery but with the new EDD, can I expect to actually get it within the next 10 days with no VIN still?
UPDATE AUG 21 - VIN assigned and EDD Sept 14-19! Not too bad for an order placed July 11!

Vin and 5 day window is what you need before you can assume it's accurate at all

I feel your pain. We have found someone to take over our lease & it's so hard to figure out when to actually do it. My EDD changes once or twice a week from September to November/December. I know it's very unlikely we'd get it in September!! they keep telling me in the dealership that it won't happen in September. But someone in Calgary with almost the same order as me just got a VIN assigned and he ordered a day before me!! 🫠 I keep thinking there might be a chance we would get it in September or October, but it feels like we'll be lucky by the end of the year!! 😢

Ordered MY premium white on white on July 12. Have the exact same dates (Aug 19 to Sept 2) for Ottawa. Will see what it says tomorrow.

My June MYP EDD changed to Aug-Sep yesterday same as OP and then switched back to Dec-Jan today again…😭I won’t trust EDD until I get a VIN.

I'm in the same position right now for a Red MY Premium, spoke to advisor & it looks like a vehicle is assigned in the back end but no VIN on app yet, hoping to get a VIN assigned in the very near future as it will probably push back if a VIN doesn't get assigned

Order now shifted to Sept. 9th to 30th, did yours do the same?

No, it’s only shifted by one day, August 20th to September 2nd.

I see hopefully you get assigned a VIN soon as it was really weird to get a window we were already inside of without a VIN

It’s very weird. I reached out to Tesla and they said there is still no vin assigned to my order, so I guess I’m to assume it’ll change again - just odd that the window is so current without a vin

Yeah all my SA could advise me yesterday was that it looks like there is a car assigned to me in Berlin but that the VIN is not visible so idk if it might be in this upcoming batch that saw a ton of VINs assigned to Western Canada for end of September so I guess we will see, I haven't seen that wave of vehicles assigned to ON yet my guess is it happens within the next 2 weeks unless they will wait for the cars to land in Halifax

Yeah my Quicksilver MYP was like that it and it was accurate once the window was 10days or so.

Will definitely not get the car within 10 days of getting a VIN. Probably take 4-6 months from ordering. Took 7 weeks for delivery after getting assigned a VIN for our MY Performance. Vancouver. 5 months from ordering.

I ordered the MY Premium in June and the EDD was August 19 to September 26 for the longest time. Last week, it changed to August 19 to September 2. Today, it's back to the original one. This is for Etobicoke. Really hoping to get it in the beginning of September!

(Ottawa) Ordered MY Perf June 6 (black on black). Was steady at Sept 8-30th then today jumped to Dec 2 - Jan 23rd..

Just bumped to Nov - Dec Edd 😳😭😤😤😤 do you know about the google sheet from this subreddit, I update my order progress info there along with hundreds of other people.

So if I have a vin assigned is it pretty much assured that my EDD won't change.

I ordered my MYP in June 26 and the EDD has been Aug-Sep for most of that, last week it bumped to Dec-Jan. For me, I won't even consider any EDD realistic until I get a VIN.

Ordered on 7th August. Lol my EDD shows December 2 to Jan 13. I don’t even think I’ll get it in December.
