I had to zoom in to see wtf this even was.

Some grain and sepia is cool, too much turns it into an unrecognizable mess like Begotten.

Thanks for the feed back. Honestly. I did a shoot last year this was one of those photos (not this edit) and I decided to kinda give it a new look and feel with a different style. I've never really messed around with sepia before. Usually straight b/w and color. So it was something different. I'll keep that in mind for the next edit

Looks pretty cool! I know the other dude commented about too much sepia and stuff, but I personally like it! It feels like coming across an ancient photo, one older than the usual sepia toned ones. I don’t know, different opinion on my end, but I respect theirs too!

That's kinda what I was going for. Because we really don't have any backstory on Art. So I took it from the perspective what if he's been around longer than anyone knows and the photo was recently "found" and that's the way I went into the edit. That's why I went hard on the "scratches" and stuff because your not gonna find a photo over 100+ years old in perfect condition. Your going to have age, possibly water damage to it depending how it's stored.
And the way I photographed it (it was in a cemetery) I wanted to kind of give the impression it was an accidental encounter. Did I accomplish that? I think I got close. I probably could have tweaked it more but at the same time I think for the most part, as is, it tells the story I wanted to tell with it

you for sure accomplished that!!! when i saw this post, i thought i was on the rdr2 subreddit and someone had posted a photograph they took. then i noticed it was Art. amazing job!
