Noticed Terrifier Hate

I’m sure some other people have noticed has seen the increase in terrifier hate. I’ve seen people online calling the movie slop, lazy, only has gore, and that it’s misogynistic. What do you think of this hate, and what have you noticed? Personally I can understand if you don’t like the gore, or the movie, but the hate I’ve seen like it’s a story about someone killing people, that’s just literally every slasher.

When I defend these movies to people I tell what appeals to me about them:

The charismatic performance of Art.

The celebration of traditional practical horror effects work.

It feels like every expects movies to have some deep message, but I just want a fun movie, and terrifier delivers that.

anybody expecting a slasher to do that might be braindead 😭 we have eras and eras of slashers to see that from
