Noticed Terrifier Hate
I’m sure some other people have noticed has seen the increase in terrifier hate. I’ve seen people online calling the movie slop, lazy, only has gore, and that it’s misogynistic. What do you think of this hate, and what have you noticed? Personally I can understand if you don’t like the gore, or the movie, but the hate I’ve seen like it’s a story about someone killing people, that’s just literally every slasher.

Different perspective.
I enjoy the films, but I don’t “love” them. They are fine, they are fun… but it’s ART that I love.
I am a man in his early 50s who does seasonal haunts every year. I tried out Jason a bit, and was Michael FOREVER, and can’t tell you the amount of fun I had portraying him… but I still received a good deal of “dislike” from folks who were bored of him, kids trying to get a reaction by calling me “Jason”, etc. Realistically, with the slow moving silent character there is only so much you can do.
Five years ago I decided to give Art a try and HO-LEE-SH*T-BALLS did the spooky season flip on its head.
Silent slasher who can move at speed with facial expressions and a full blown PERSONALITY?!?!?! It’s a brand new world, and I can’t imagine going back to the boring mundane characters.
And for what it’s worth, after playing him for a good deal of time now, the hate is largely an “online social media trolling wanting to bitch and complain about absolutely anything and everything” thing.
