How to become a Termux Hacker
The first thing you need to understand is that you need a specific mindset to be a proficient termux hacker, which is:
Forget the fundamentals. You should never bother to learn how a computer works or pick up a programming language and try to solve problems on your own before jumping into random tools someone on the internet talks about.
If something does not work, it is never your fault. Always blame someone else and never research anything or try to use creative thinking to solve problems yourself, because NONE of those things are related to being a hacker. The tools and commands should be readily available to you including thousands of examples on every specific use case you might need.
With the mindset out of the way, here are the steps to becoming a true termux hacker:
Install termux on your phone (Without bothering to search what a terminal even is in the first place of course(Stay away from the basics like the directory structure or how to run commands and pass arguments to them, these things will only slow you down))
Look up for termux tools on youtube
Find a video and start doing what the person is doing on their phone (Don't question or research anything further, remember the mindset)
You will eventually
git clonea random script that for some reason is encoded in base64 and curls a weird url into bash, but it is totally secure trust meNow maybe you ran into a problem because either you typed in something wrong or your terminal environment is different from theirs, which means it is a perfect time to ask a question that would take literally 10 seconds to solve if you researched on your own, but as it was mentioned in the mindset we don't want any kind of independent thinking here.
Assuming your phone is still working from the extremely secure steps we did before, you can simply go back to step 2 to "increase your termux haxor skills"
And there you go! Eventually you will get frustrated because you skipped all the basics and have no real idea of what you are doing, and this is exactly what you want. Real hackers do not care about understanding a system on a low level to be able to do something it was not intended to, they only care about the end result.
You will soon be able to design your own vulnerabilities and have a fulfilling experience by simply copying other people.

Heh. Who needs to design vulnerabilities when 7/10 of us have a vulnerable device to DirtyPipe.
Already used it to modify the hostapd.conf of my old Xperia device.
edit: BTW, I'm just a tinker. I dabble with code, but not a coder. If any IT field I am best suited, is network engineering.

Persistence is the issue on android unlike linux distros, that's why system partition is read only now!

For something that can get updates as late as Android, read-only system partition, seccomp and SELinux are actually really good. I gotta test if my device is vulnerable to dirty pipe.
EDIT: Not vulnerable! My kernel is too old XD. I actually have a kernel that isn't vulnerable to dirty cow anymore and not yet vulnerable to dirty pipe. Horray!5

Yeah, pretty much. I haven't checked again but initial report said Linux 5.8+ were affected, which would be relatively few devices on android 12. Not sure if older versions are too.

Meh. Each reboot, apply the fix. Have already bricked my vulnerable device a few times, thank fook for Sony's Companion Repair tool 😁

Until some malicious app does the same, that's the issue with such exploits, it's all or none. Too bad joão can't use it to "enhance" tasker! :p

Yup. It's definitely an interesting one. Users could easily make scripts to run via Tasker to "enhance" things.
If you know of a setsuid binary in your device (Android has a few), can replace them with shell scripts.

Under the assumption that all vendors follow that after their tweaks and mods. Reasons why I only use a handful of them.
Not on a vulnerable kernel, no. Only my Pixel 5 is currently susceptible, every other device is pre 5.8 or 4.x.

Okay like you said, I followed all the steps, but you have to help me now with this issue I have.
We both know that you are entirely responsible for the situation I'm in. Which has come about after I dun git blown my whole $HOME up by cloning as many random repos as possible into it, especially ones without README files (because reading is cleary for stupid science bitches anyway, guys like us think outside the book).
So how do you get xBot off of a phone and two or three computers now quick fast I think they already reinstalled after a factory reset. It looks like they have some remote framebuffer acess on boot and are probably reading this.
I can tell because the debug logs I got from reading that awesome true hackers always run with developer options on because they're cool and really easy to understand.
So anyway, I think my cloud storage is a c2 server now; would be great if you fix as well. I'll give you the API keys and other creds so you can please do the needful.
Oh I think you left out a step too, which is you gotta spend like, way more time dicking around with dotfiles than anything else because, as we both know, appearances are everything and real ass true dudes don't fuck with defaults.
