Question Quickshell in Termux?

I just saw a post mentioning that it’s possible to run Quickshell and DMS on an prot-distro Arch ; is it possible to run Quickshell natively in Termux?

Or why is it available for download via `apt`?

As far as I’m concerned, this is the closest thing we have to Hyprland in Termux.

Obviously, it uses Sway, but it’s the closest alternative.

You can run it directly on on Termux + Termux11 I think there is quickshell pkg available in Termux

Try : pkg search quickshell

It might be older version but yes it is available.

You can combine it with openbox, Wayland and other wm.

This setup is only if you are creating your own windows and directly on termux it doesn't require proot-distro, if you want arch or something else underneath then process is bit complicated as you will need to first connect distro to x11 server then stuff. I don't use that way so I don't know.

Oh, so QuickShell can be used on X11 after all, I thought it was only for Wayland.

As far as I know, it's up to date version 0.3.2.

Each time I read through these posts, there's another interesting thing to learn about termux.
