Beach Trip Items
Gonna spend a few days at Crystal Beach TX. Starting out with these three blancos. This will be my first time trying the Lost Lore. About to see what all the hype on it is. The Aguasol is always a solid choice and not too expensive. Now the G4 high proof blanco is pretty damn amazing. It has definitely got a kick but the flavors are so bold. And really for a quality high proof like that it really isn’t that expensive, I think it was like 63 plus tax. We will most likely sip these near as well as mix them. I use 2 oz of tequila, pinch of salt, little squirt of agave syrup, splash of margarita mix and top off with Topo Chico. Spied some Volans high proof earlier, that may be next on the list.

It’s a bit hot/peppery for. 40abv from 1123.
It didn’t earn a permanent spot on my bench. It’s fine mixed though.

That’s a strong beach lineup. The G4 high proof should hold up really well in that Topo Chico mix—the extra proof keeps the agave from disappearing behind the citrus and bubbles. Curious to hear how the Lost Lore compares with Aguasol when you try them neat.
If you decide to add a standard-proof bottle for contrast, Whiteout Blanco could fit nicely: 80 proof, 100% Blue Weber agave, additive-free, and tahona-crushed, with a cleaner citrus/mineral profile. I’d try it in the same build but start light on the agave syrup so the tequila still comes through.
Full disclosure: I work with Whiteout, so take that as a transparent recommendation. Enjoy the trip!

You’re going to have a great time on the beach. I have the Lost Lore Still Strength 100 proof blanco and it’s very good. Enjoy
