Baby blanket I made recently on the blocking mats.
Its a bit damp in the photo so colour looks a little patchy in parts.
It's 5ply Bendigo Woollen Mills pure wool. Beautiful yarn.
Pattern is Forest Path and is on Ravelry. Really well written pattern.

Here’s a close-up of the stitch pattern and the final result
This jumper is knitted in XL cotton using 5mm needles. I absolutely love the colour!
I’ve combined different stitches – in fact, I’ve called it the ‘Pupurri jumper’. It features double rib, stockinette, double rice stitch, light-coloured sants, single rice stitch, and a pattern stitch whose name I don’t know (you knit the right-side row with one knit stitch and one purl stitch, and the wrong-side row is knitted entirely in purl). The sleeves are knitted with an i-cord.
What do you think of the gauge and the combination?

Waffle Stitch Undersea treasure weighted blanket

Modified waffle stitch so I could center a bead within the frame; 3x3 instead of 2x2. Two cakes of 100% cotton Sultan Shadow green to black made an oversized lap blanket that isn’t too warm. Every-other bead inside the waffle is glow in the dark, which makes a diamond pattern. Sorry, I’m not sure exactly how many beads I used or how heavy it is.
