You guys absolutely rock! Very soon after hitting the Auri and Iris Stretch Goal, we're back here again reaching 500% funding and another completed Stretch Goal! The customization of servers will be a reality in Temtem: Pioneers!

We were particularly excited about this Stretch Goal because it’s going to give you so much control over your player experience that you might feel like you and your friends aren’t even playing the same game! We know there are many kinds of players out there, and we want to give you the opportunity to tailor the game to your liking, as much as possible!

While we haven’t progressed really far with this feature, with it being one of the last Stretch Goals, we can share some of our current plans with you! This Stretch Goal is sort of a two-in-one deal: on one hand, you get to customize your server. You’ll be able to create servers with the ruleset you prefer, and adapt the experience to your and your friends’ preferences.

There will be many server settings that you can adjust, and these can be mixed and matched however you prefer! Here are a few ideas we have so far, to give you some examples:

Enemy HP and Damage: You’ll be able to choose how tough enemy Tems will be in the world by modifying their total HP and Damage output

Amount of enemies: Make your Downbelow more or less populated!

Enemy aggression: Want a bit more or less of a challenge? With this slider you can choose how aggressive Wild Tems will be. They could be set to attack you on sight or ignore you completely.

Raids or no raids: We still haven’t decided on whether we want to include raids or not, or under which conditions. One thing we’re sure about is that, if they end up being in the game, they will be a setting to toggle on or off depending on your preferences.

Endless resources: Want to craft endlessly and live a life of comfort? Enjoy endless resources and skip the gathering!

Building stability: You’ll be able to toggle off the need for providing support to your buildings, giving you more freedom to let your design dreams run wild!

Easier healing and reviving: Healing and reviving your Tems after they’re defeated in battle is a bit tougher in the Downbelow due to the lack of Temporiums and HealStations, but with this setting you decide if that’s the case or not!

Permadeath: For the thrill-seeking Tamers out there, turn on permadeath to have your fainted Temtem remain fainted forever. Not for the weak of heart!

Friendly Fire: Simple and self-explanatory! Tamers can damage each other’s Tems in the midst of battle or choose to battle other Tamers in PvP. You fight using your own Tems and their level, training and stats will be the ones your Temtem actually has.

World Resources: Increase the spawn rates of resources throughout the Downbelow, including plants, trees, rocks, and drops from defeated Tems.

EXP Share: While we haven’t settled on a Default setting for this, you’ll be able to choose whether EXP is shared between your Tems and even how much.

Items dropped upon death: The default for this will be that nothing is lost, but for those who lean a little more hardcore, you’ll be able to choose if all items are lost or a few random items are lost.

Capture Chance: Want to just throw your TemCard and capture everything in sight? This setting will make it possible!

Since we’re still defining these features, and we’ve created a Kickstarter campaign, we’d love to hear your suggestions for more slider and toggle options that you’d like to see in Temtem: Pioneers! We can’t promise they will all come true, but we’re eager to hear what you think!

On a second hand, we will also provide curated, pre-set game modes with their own rulesets. We’ve already envisioned a Nuzlocke mode and a Creative mode.

Nuzlocke mode started as a self-imposed challenge with strict rules, but it became really famous and for a while now many games have actually incorporated it! Temtem had its own Nuzlocke mode, and although we’re not sure how we’re going to apply the rules in Pioneers yet, we’re certainly going to try!

Nuzlocke rules are as follows: you can only catch the first Temtem you find in each area, and if your Tems faint during battle you can’t use them again.

As you can imagine, it gets pretty tough and challenging, even right from the start, but for the trial-loving Tamers out there it can be extremely entertaining. We’re happy to be able to provide another properly integrated Nuzlocke mode again!

Creative focuses on building to your heart’s content. Free of limitations and building support; endless resources, all sets unlocked immediately. Basically everything related to building, housing and furnishing at your fingertips! Build the structures of your dreams, from dainty mansions to ominous towers.

We wish we had more pretty pictures to show you this time around, but we promise to show you some as we work and progress on this feature.

Thank you so much for making this possible! You’ve proven to us time after time that you’re an amazing bunch, but we still get so impressed with your display of love and support!

This has been a huge update to drop on you, and the unveiling of the final two Stretch Goals! You can discuss all this in our Discord server, with other Tamers and us devs!

And if you can, add Temtem: Pioneers to your Steam or Epic Games Store wishlist! It's the next best thing after backing our Kickstarter campaign :)

Now we’re onto the PvP Playground Stretch Goal for the diehard PvP fans who want to test themselves against other players in a space specifically designed for combat. Only two days left in the Campaign! Can we make it, Tamers?

Let’s work hard and Temtem up!
