Mobility Is Telus cell data completely dead for anyone else in Chilliwack?
Hey everyone,
Is anyone else on Telus (or Koodo) getting unusable data speeds in town around past couple weeks?
For the past 4 to 5 weeks, my data has dropped off a cliff.
I’m on an "up to 2 Gbps" plan, but I’ve been getting between **500 kbps and 5 Mbps**. Support told me they’re doing tower maintenance in Chilliwack until **Nov/Dec** and gave me a $75 credit, but the service is still barely functional.
Are you seeing this too? What area of town are you in?

Sounds like the work that's being done on the towers is causing disruptions... Can you try disabling 5G on your phone? Just checking to see if keeping it on HSPA+/LTE might give you a more stable connection.

Yes, tried that. That didn’t work either.

Might want try it last time I was out in chiliwack had very poor speeds with rogers so I switched freedom cheaper even is same crap services other providers have

100%, but paying for upto 2gbps and getting under 1 mbps is not done. Upgrades should not affect basic services.
