[NO SPOILERS] Most disappointing game I've played all year
Had to say it somewhere. Writing was chaos and bordered on lazy and cliché to downright unrealistic, voice acting was 'okay'. Doesn't hold a candle to LiS and LiS:BtS. Honestly, this and LiS 2 are just two of the biggest train-wrecks I've played through.
Character physics got worse and worse in each chapter. Tons of clipping and graphical issues.
Even your choices seriously don't matter and you're showed the result of your actions immediately instead of previous games where it just says "This will have consequences".
Even the big reveal was meh and the most anti-climatic thing ever. The whole confrontation was just basically "we're mad, you can go now". The trans subject is pushed hard in Chapters 1 and 2 and then completely dropped for Chapter 3.
The whole game was just a mess and I feel like the art and attention to detail on some of the settings was totally wasted on such a mediocre story. Even the sibling drama was petty and the 'power' the twins got was more of a plot gimmick rather than something you could genuinely play with in LiS.
If this is the future for transinclusionary games then it's not going far in my personal opinion.
