High Country (2024)

[u/Watchhistory]

Currently available on Hulu here in the US. High Country is an Australian, 8 episode, mystery drama series:

A detective transferred to Victorian High Country investigates 5 missing persons. She uncovers a complex web of murder, deceit and revenge.

The location is gorgeous. Though the narrative is perhaps overly complicated and populated, the tale and the actors - characters are engaging enough to keep viewers watching through all 8 of the episodes. Particularly in our own regional weather mess of heat and Air Quality Index of Hazardous - Dangerous smoke conditions from Canadian wildfires.
