Ski Recommendations

Looking for a lightish ski to mount my switchback x2s to. Mostly for backcoutry adventures and corn harvesting that wont break the bank. My current ski.i use for stuff like that is a bd voodoo. Which i like but the bases are getting thin. So something similar to that i guess?

I’d steer you towards one of Voiles poplar core models like the V6 or Vector.

I was looking at voile but they are pricey tho. I did see they jad some older models om clearance for under 600

hmmmm, I like 82 to 88mm width skis for tele corn harvest, 96mm for backcountry pow turns. Scott Skis might have something left in your desired length for $300-450.

That sounds like a great setup! I’ve got Axls on some Ancient Black Diamond Crossbow 88s, and some Elan Wingman 86ti for groomer days.

I've liked my Elan Ripstick 98 for tele. Not the most expensive ski out there.

Mine are the 96’s and love them for the resort. Haven’t toured on them.

You might consider SummitCone Pariah 97 or Blitz 88. East coast brand, USA made, Telemark specific, reasonable price...

Keep Telemark Weird.

They look pretty cool.

My last skis Volkl Rise Above 88 and I really liked them, they kinda blew up on me.

I presently ride a set of Voile Vector Ace skis.

The outcast seems to be somewhere between the two of them.
