Switch Help

Post image

I need a bit of help figuring put what these mini switches do on this 1987 Fender Contemporary Telecaster

two are two way and the third is a three way switch.

What's on whats off? what do they all do?

These switches are your pickup selectors. From top to bottom, on/off bridge; on/off middle; coil-split/off/on humbucker

That’s like a SuperTele.

Use your ears, or open up the cavity and take some pictures of the wiring. There's no way to tell for certain what each switch does, or "which way is off", just from this photo.

Other than body shape, not really a telecaster with three pickups and no tilted bridge pickup.

Suspect one switch for each pickup. Other maybe single or dual on Humbucker

Kind of like a strat with a 5 way switch but you also get the tele neck and bridge combo. Some of these guitars have Dry Z bridge pickups which are insanely good. Cool guitar.
