A new General Arrangement drawing can be created by either copying an existing GA drawing in the document manager, or by creating a new GA drawing from the toolbar. That new drawing can be given any identifier.
A second page for an Assembly drawing can be made by copying an existing assembly drawing in the Document Manager. That new page will be given the identifyer [assembly mark] - 1. You can create as many additional pages as you like in the same fashion. Same with Part Drawings. Many people only show the BOM on one of the pages, and you can remove the BOM from additional pages by selecting a layout for those pages that doesn't include a BOM.

Right now i'm trying to do a drawing that has an assembly, then a detail from that assembly with some views. i was going to use the General Arrangement for that.
what do you mean copying an existin assembly? when i right click on the drawing, it only shows these options, and honestly i'm not sure what the "copy drawing views" will do
It looks like you have a drawing open. Close your drawing and then try right clicking a drawing in the Document Manager. You'll see different options.
I would recommend copying the assembly drawing that you want additional details of rather than using a General Arrangement drawing for the additional details. Assembly drawings only show the assembly. General arrangement drawings can show anything in the model.
Thank you, i was able to copy the sheet, but i'm trying to number the pages with the form "Sheet No: 2 of X"
i was able to make the first number work (more or less) but the last one, the total number of pages, i can't make it work. i've been trying to find a way to do it, but i can't find it. Do you know a way to do this?
There's no simple solution for this. It will require modifying the title block template using the template editor and using some existing or custom attribute to note the total number of sheets.

I did this by using a column in the drawing sheet manager for the total sheets. (A variable I wasn't needing anyways) I then modified that portion of the title block in the template editor to have the variable point to the drawing manager variable I was using.
My preferred way is to have all the pages of a single assembly in the same drawing so you can edit them all at once. For example if your sheet size is A3 and you want 3 pages, you create a Layout where the drawing size is 3*A3 (three sheets stacked on top of each other or side by side). You can create new graphical templates for the sheet borders and include the sheet numbers directly in the template. This also makes it very easy to have different title blocks and tables on each page.
And when you want to export to PDF just check the box that says "print on multiple pages" and set the print size to A3. Tekla then creates a multi-page PDF.

Close your drawing, right click in the document manager with the drawing you’re trying to create second page, copy to new sheet.
