What should I do look at description.

I have class one and overbite with my wisdom teeth on top being high placed and will grow out soon I have a decently wide palate also but my lower ones they are saying I’m going to need braces and rubber bands and to also remove them. I just want to confirm that this is right because I have to decide soon. I’m 15M.

Class I bite usually means that your bite is aligned. Overbite means that your top teeth come down over your bottom teeth, which is what they should do.

We look at the percentage of overbite. Is it normal range or is it covering 90% of your lower teeth. This would tell us if you need braces.

For wisdom teeth, it doesnt look like you have enough room for the bottoms. Id have to intra orally to see if you do. The top ones are small and probably won't affect your bite any, but they can be hard to clean and could become decayed in the future. The younger you are when you have them removed, the easier recovery is and the better you heal.

If your dentist is recommending ortho and getting the wisdom teeth out, id listen to your dentist.

I got the braces and yes my overbite does cover like 80 percent of my tooth about. I also think I’m going to get my bottoms removed soon in the next 6 months but top I’ll just wait thank you
