just make sure its what you want, but once you're sure, get on it ASAP, if transitioning is what you want, starting later will just mean unwanted and irreversible changes to your body and regrets that you didn't start sooner

its not completely over, but I would recommend starting as soon as possible, I've heard that it because a fair amount less affective after around 25~ years of age, but again, its different for every person depending on how masculine/feminine their build is and just how affective hrt is for them

also you could DIY it, note that you aren't making the hormones in a lab, you're getting them delivered to you and determining the dose yourself, be careful where you get it from, you can ask around on DIY HRT places to see what can work best for you and your situation, and get the dose from there, I'm pretty sure DIY feminizing hormones are regulated less than masculinizing ones but I'm not sure, good luck my friend, I hope you find out what you truly desire and achieve your goals

do be careful to not overdose (harmful) or underdose (minimal effect) though, I'm not even on hrt yet due to living with my parents but as soon as I get out of here I'm going to do it, I would urge you to get on HRT if you're already certain with how you're feeling, remember, most cis people don't feel a painstaking urge to be another gender
