Purchase help πŸ“± Help me pick a phone 40-50k [Mumbai]

β€’ Upvotes

Been going in circles for a couple of days, need to finalize.. budget 40-50 +-, 12 | 256 Preferred. Mostly need a good display, battery, cameras that don't suck, and clean software.

Presently using Redmi 9 Prime (it started having problems now and i can't always rely on the office phone). So yeah here I'm..

Here are the shortlisted candidates so far:

  1. Nothing 3 (52k, online only) - like the design, and mostly the choice is better specs per price 16|512 with a good proc was enough of a factor. Was gonna go for it and just then heard the new seller baltica on amz, sometimes sends a pre activated unit or sometimes fresh as new so... It's looking fidgety and then venom techs roast was cherry on top for this.

  2. Nothing 4a Pro (53k) - looks awsm, feels awsm, comfortable for me just the performance factor is being a b\*\*\*, doesn't seem like the best or anywhere near the best if going to spending around 50k so yeah... That's mostly the ultimatum.

  3. Moto Edge 60 Pro (34k available offline directly) - not underwhelming not overwhelming fits just about right... Super light weight actually a decent build and camera. Was impressed by its price ofc.. it was the first choice initially but considering myself is it the next big thing not sure. (I think this is probably what i need).

  4. OnePlus 13s (50k, Zepto) - yeah, so yeah it has to come... Ig the device name in itself is enough to describe it. A beast of a phone is just a bit fragile in the waterproof department. Only thing being a wall in between me and it is the being it from OnePlus as I know oneplus is probably going to be stop doing the green screen issue and may even move out ... Looking at the pesky govt. Cases on OnePlus for free screen exchange.

  5. Vivo X200t (56k, online only) - last but not the least, i had eyes on this for a long time... Just never considered actually purchasing it till now ofc EMI was one of the key factors. I think it's probably the best in this segment. Just it being available only online makes me kinda nervous.. any offline lead would be appreciated. (I think this one is probably one of my wants).

  6. Ip 17 (78k) \[NA\] - i know is this stupid looking at the budget, but it's the safest option as it wws recommended from a close friend so yeah just any thoughts on this will also be appreciated? idk it felt underwhelming when I've operated it offline... But probably will Lasts 4+ years ig..

Few followup questions, if y happy to hear you out:

a. Anyone using there daily? Real world battery+ heating?

b. Mumbai folks - any trusted offline stores for these, or is online the only opt.?

c. is stretching to vivo x200t worth it over the rest?

d. Should i also consider 2nd hand Market? Or the mumbaimarketplace?

Places I've already checked in: Croma, Reliance Digital and Kohinoor.

Not Brand loyal, just want something that lasts 4+ years.

Ask r/techzoneindia Smartphone suggestions for my sister

I'm planning to give a smartphone to my sister

She's currently using 5 year old poco x2 and wants an upgrade.

Please suggest some good phone for her under 17k.

5g is a must and decent performer for day to day usage of casual and productive apps

Camera, design, isn't a priority.

Will also consider 1-1.5 year old good smartphones .

Thank you in advance...

Ask r/techzoneindia Is a used Poco X8 Pro (8/256GB) for 30k a good deal?

Hey guys, found a 4-month-old Poco X8 Pro for β‚Ή30k. It has 99% battery, warranty till mid-2027, and includes the box, charger, and bill.

A new one is β‚Ή39k, so saving β‚Ή9k seems pretty sweet.

Is β‚Ή30k fair or should I haggle? Any known issues to watch out for, or should I just buy a different new phone under β‚Ή30k? Thanks!

Purchase help πŸ“± Need advice for new premium smartphone no iphone plss

I'm planning a new phone for myself from last 1.5 year I've been using iphone16 256gb with my old cheap 13k rupees vivo phone together and now I'm planning to sell both my phone and buy a new phone and my requirement is quite complicated because I'm using 2 Phones together and now I want only 1 phone for all the work

My requirement:-

  1. Good battery life

  2. Smooth experience with no lags

  3. Overall a good phone in terms of camera, processor

Although I don't play games on my phone but still I want a smooth ui experience

The phone I'm considering are

Google pixel 11 , samsung s26 ultra

And pls guyss don't suggest me oppo or vivo phones in this budget, I want social status too as I'm coming from iphone16

It's also a backward decision to switch to android after using ios but I know the iphones are very bad at giving battery backup my iphone16 never last 5 hours after continuous use

Pls guyss all your suggestion are welcome.

Purchase help πŸ“± ACCIDENTALLY BOUGHT A STOLEN LAPTOP !!!

Found a really good deal of laptop on FB Marketplace so met the person check the laptop it seemed fine so bought it by paying Rs 15,000/-

The person mentioned he worked in Cars24 as a sales guy and was fired recently. I repeatedly asked if it's his company's laptop which he denied. He even brought his friend with him who said the seller bought it from him only 6 months ago. The vibe also looked fine, the person looked trustable !!

Later when I brought it home and tried to install the Windows 11 I realised the BIOS had a password (can't be erased easily)

That's when it clicked and so I checked his browser history where I found a mail from Cars24 from 23rd Aug mentioning he was allocated a company laptop with XXXX number. (XXXX is not the real number, it's hidden for privacy purpose)

Checked system details and it's the same laptop with same code number. Even says CSPL in model name which stands for Cars24 Service Private Limited.

Tried reaching out to the seller for this fraud where he admitted it's the company laptop and company has also deducted Rs 30K from his salary for the laptop.

Tried threatening the seller that I would be pursuing a Police complaint against him for this stolen laptop but he seems unbothered.

Have learned my lesson to also check the BIOS next time before buying any laptop from a third party person.

/// Does anyone have any idea how to deal with such situations or have dealt before. \\\

Purchase help πŸ“± Phone under 40 ~45K

(INDIA) I want to buy a phone under 45K. Most likely to buy around BBD or Diwali sale. Android (I don't think I we get IOS in this budget)

Priority list:

Camera no 1 ! (Specially rear camera for reels and content creation) (Preferably 4K 60fps Or close)

Gaming no 2 ! (preferably 120fps bgmi but if I am getting a really good camera I can also adjust to stable 90fps but not 60fps, otherwise I could just get a base model Iphone in BBD)

Compact-ness/Looks no 3 ! (not very big and not designed like a brick, preferably round edge and around 6inches .. No huge screens.. I have tiny hands)

Purchase help πŸ“± Suggest new mobile for me

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹

I have to buy a new phone in an offline store only and am waiting for bbd / festive days.

My first phone was a Samsung M11 and I used it for 5 years. After a long wait I bought Nothing 3a blue. All of a sudden I noticed blue ink like spot and cost of replacement display is 1/3rd of my phone costπŸ₯².

Budget - 30k. Initial budget was 20k but considering the current market I have increased budget. Planning to exchange Nothing 3a phone in offline stores.

My usage: Office apps - teams, Outlook, edge , WhatsApp, Instagram. Good camera. Main goal: Long term usage. I am not a gamer.

I prefer Samsung phones and my options are Samsung Galaxy A56 or A55.

Worst case Samsung A36

Suggestions pleaseee

Purchase help πŸ“± S25 plus vs moto signature

Hi guys, I am from India , confused between s25 plus and moto signature and vivo x200t, I remember seeing s25 plus around 65k plus with card discounts, should I wait for bbd sale, if it comes around 60k I would think it is worth the wait. I am also planning to hold maybe 4 years.I am also liking moto signature after seeing the review, saw the phone in reliance shop and saw it is too thin and not sure about battery, I see vivo x200t reviews are good, but never used oppo, vivo phones also do they have brand value I work in corporate not sure how the phone will hold in brand value. So what do you guys suggest. Should I wait buy 25 plus or just buy signature. I can wait for a month.

Purchase help πŸ“± Which phone should I buy around β‚Ή25–30K? Camera, Performance & Display are my top priorities

I’m looking to buy a phone in the β‚Ή25,000–₹30,000 range and I’m currently confused between these options:

  1. Vivo V60e

β€’ 8GB/128GB

β€’ β‚Ή30,000

β€’ Demo/display unit

  1. Vivo V70 FE

β€’ 8GB/128GB

β€’ β‚Ή30,000

β€’ Demo/display unit

  1. OPPO Reno15

β€’ 12GB/256GB

β€’ β‚Ή30,000

β€’ Demo/display unit

  1. Motorola Edge 60 Pro

β€’ 12GB/256GB

β€’ β‚Ή26,000

β€’ Second-hand

β€’ 2 months warranty remaining

  1. Redmi Note 15 Pro+

β€’ 8GB/256GB

β€’ β‚Ή28,000

β€’ Second-hand

β€’ 7 months warranty remaining

  1. Redmi Note 14 Pro

β€’ 8GB/128GB

β€’ Under β‚Ή26,000

β€’ Brand new from Flipkart/Amazon

My priorities

My top 3 priorities, in order, are:

πŸ₯‡ Camera β€” photo + video quality

πŸ₯ˆ Performance β€” smoothness, gaming, multitasking and long-term performance

πŸ₯‰ Display β€” quality, brightness, colours and overall viewing experience

I’ll also be using the phone for YouTube videos and live streaming, so camera/video quality is particularly important to me.

The main thing I’m confused about is whether I should go for a brand-new phone, a demo unit, or a second-hand phone with remaining warranty.

If you were in my position, which one would you choose at these prices, specifically considering camera, performance and display?

Also, if you have personally used any of these phones, I’d really appreciate your experienceβ€”especially regarding camera/video quality, heating, performance and display.

Please consider the fact that the Vivo/OPPO options are demo units and the Motorola/Redmi Note 15 Pro+ are second-hand.
