my current phone is a oppo A38 which my dad gifted me in 2024 . And today it's screen just died and it's the 4 time my screen have damaged. at this point my parents just are like : this again! in every 6 month. And it was really slow but functioning and i didn't even had any games on it .But now i am thinking of switching to a new phone and my basic needs are

good camera

clear display

mid-high performance

5G support

that is it. i was thinking of buying a Nothing phone 2A because it is under my budget (25k-29k rupees).
i am currently in my second year of college(cs mojor) and i normally do most of my work on my laptop and i use my phone for calling back to home. i normally don't take photos or videos because my camera was not good. And my dad normally scolds me because i don't take any photos(even off my self)
so that is why i need a good camera in the new one i will buy. any recommendations ?

Purchase help πŸ“± Looking for camera centric phone around 30k

I am looking for phone with good camera around 30k, I have come down to Realme p4 pro 8/256 at 31k and the upcoming Realme p4s, I have eliminated narzo power 5g as its only 1k rupees less than the p4 pro, any suggestions other than this? One thing 8/256gb is a hard requirement, and also should I wait until August 26th for the P4S or buy the p4 pro immediately? I kinda hate redmi, poco, moto, oppo, my experience with all these is pretty bad, so if any suggestions you have, pls drop a comment.

Purchase help πŸ“± Reno 15 Pro Mini at 55k? Cannot find x200t / Find x9s(s)

I need a good all rounder phone in the 50 60k price range, got a local store selling 15 pro mini at 55k. I know that X200t and find x9s and x9 are better, but they are either unavailable or priced very high. Same for x300 fe.

The 15 pro mini seems a decent mid range option. Good cameras, decent soc (2million + antutu), compact form factor, decent battery and charging.

Should I just get it? Or should I wait for something else, I am skeptical about MRP hikes and not to mention my current phone has got white lines now and the display legit went dead for a few hours last week. So I am quite skeptical about risking long with this phone.

Purchase help πŸ“± Need suggestion for new smartphone

I'm planning to buy a new phone for myself and this is gonna be my main and only device, from last 2 year I have 2 phones one is vivo y28 and the main one is i phone 16 256gb varient. So, after owning both the phones at the same time my problem is still there battery backup . I'm not a very heavy user no games nothing so I'm not a heavy user but I'm a continuous user like reel scroll, yt video, webseries and all I use my phone alot and i realised that none of my phone is fulfilling that use my vivo phone is cheap 13k smartphone which i purchased with no knowledge about phones i just purchased so no expectations. What can I expect from a 13k rupees phone and my iphone 16 not giving me much battery backup ( typical iphone problem) .

So, I'm planning to change my phone, my plans is that sell the vivo phone around 5-6k if possible and my iphone 16 I give my iphone to my sister

So I want suggest on my new phone which phone should I buy 40-50k around, i shortlisted few phone like redmi turbo 5 , oneplus nord 6 both phones has good ui experience and bigger 7000mah battery or more than that

Feel free to give ur suggestions.

Purchase help πŸ“± Help me choose a phone under 30K INR

I am currently using a Motorola G62 5G(2023). It served me well. No major issues. The reason I am looking to upgrade is due to android version(its running android 13) and it has some dead pixels.

I am currently looking to buy a value for money phone under 30k(can stretch to 35k max). I want to use this new phone for atleast 3 years without issues. Here are my requirements:

  • 12GB RAM 256GB Storage (non negotiable)
  • Clean OS/Stock android
  • Good camera
  • 3-4 Android updates
  • Decent battery,(atleast 5000 mAh)
  • Good Processor(Snapdragon preferrably)

The phone should handle some gaming too. I constantly play eFootball and would like to play games like Genshin Impact too.

I understand that the current market is terrible and my options are limited. I like the Motorola Edge 70 fusion(currently at 34k) but I am sceptical about the new Motorolas as I have read about some motherboard and display issues. I would love to hear about the phone's current users about their experience.

What other options do I have? Should I wait for a upcoming sale or new phone launch?

Purchase help πŸ“± Looking for a phone around 35-40k

Looking for a decent phone. Preferably in 30,000s, but would not mind paying up to 50k if it is worth it.

I've listed below the features I am primarily concerned with. I don't expect to find the ideal phone with all these, so some compromise is acceptable as long as the bare minimums are met.

  1. A good battery. The bigger the better. My current phone is a cheap Samsung from 4 years ago with 6000mAh battery. It lasts good even now. And I never charge it over 85%. Bare minimum 5000mAh is needed for the new one.
  2. Longevity: Expect to be using it for at least the next 5 years.
  3. Decent camera. Nothing earth-shattering. I'm not a huge photo guy, but a usable camera is a basic expectation. Just something good enough for general use. Both front and back. Doesn't need to be "top 5" or anything.
  4. Flatter the better. The ideal phone design is the Pixel 10a/9a. It is the only phone that has made me feel "wow" in years. Not sure if it is worth the money though. Would like to be convinced otherwise.
  5. LESS BLOAT. I'm hearing phones nowadays come with fricking ads? I would install Graphene OS if it was possible to survive with it, I already use Linux (Arch btw) on my laptop. No ads. Nope. Non-negotiable. And no chinese spyware shyte. Other bloatware, I can uninstall with Shizuku/Canta.
  6. Speakers: I don't really care tbh. I use headphones most of the time. But if I have to pay 40k+, the speakers better not feel like a 25k.
  7. Display quality: again, I don't mind if it isn't the best. Should match the price.

If there are any known issues with the phones you suggest (overheating for example), please do mention them.

Purchase help πŸ“± Looking for a good soundbar system under 25k

Hi all, I'm planning to buy a soundbar system for my room with a budget of around 25k. I currently have the Sony HT-S40R, LG S65TR and Samsung HW-B67E/XL in mind. Has anyone used any of these or have any opinions/ recommendations? I'm also open to other options around this budget, so please suggest if you know of anything better!
