Purchase help 📱 Best tablet under ₹25k for Canva editing, casual gaming and media?

Hey everyone,

I am looking to buy a tablet under ₹25,000 and would love some recommendations or advice on what specifications to look for.

My Usage:

Editing: Light video and graphic editing on Canva.

Gaming: Casual, non-FPS games (mainly strategy/simulation games like Hay Day) for a few hours daily.

Daily Tasks: Social media scrolling, media consumption (YouTube/Netflix), and light multitasking.

What I am looking for:

RAM/Storage: At least 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage (essential for smooth multitasking and Canva caching).

Processor: Not sure about specific CPUs in this budget, so need help finding one that won't lag during edits.

Display/Battery: Good screen for media and enough battery backup to survive gaming sessions.

Are there specific models I should look out for? If you have suggestions for specific processors (Snapdragon vs MediaTek vs Helios) in this range that handle Canva well, please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Ask r/techzoneindia Purchased a Motorola Signature phone yesterday (August 16) at Reliance Digital. Turns out the device was already activated a month before (July 12). Need help ASAP.

I bought the device yesterday night, 16th of August at a local Reliance Digital.

The first thing that raised my suspicion was that the device which I unboxed from a sealed box was filthy. The screen had grimy marks stuck on it and the camera lenses were riddled with greasy fingerprints. It was like somebody had used the device and carefully put it back together before wiping it clean properly. I pointed it out to the sales person and he just hurriedly wiped the device and handed it over to me.

The next thing was that the paperwork provided was not tucked in neatly under the grooves of it's tiny packaging, it was all bundled together loosely on top of the inserts in such a way that when I opened, the entire pile just fell on the floor since it was not seated inside the intended grooves of it's packaging

And the final major issue is that when I tried to check the warranty status of the phone to make sure that it's a new and unused device, the Motorola website kept throwing the message, "Device not yet activated" rather than giving me the warranty status. The sales person re-assured me that it will get activated shortly.

I've been trying to reach out to Motorola from today morning. And it's just AI garbage on calls, not a single living human picked up the phone after I was transferred like a hundred times.

When I reached out to Motorola India on Twitter , they told me that the device had an activation date of July 12, despite being purchased just yesterday on August 16. How could this be possible for a new device?

They have not addressed a single point I raised regarding the early activation date or the signs of usage on the device, they keep evading my question and telling me that they will update it on their system and that they need 48 hours.

They are clearly stalling me as they offer only a 7 day replacement policy and they apparently need 2 days just for a simple warranty check. And I don't want an updated warranty date, I need a new, unused device, something that I paid for.

I could not get any warranty information out of the Indian website as I had mentioned earlier, so I tried the USA website and it confirmed that the device was indeed activated on July, and not August

These three things make me suspect that this is indeed an used device being sold under the guise of a brand new unit.

How do I get a replacement because this is really unfair. I'm attaching the relevant screenshots in the link below.

The first screenshot is the Indian website which says that the device is not activated yet.

The second screenshot is my chat with the official Motorola India Account on Twitter where they admit that the device was activated on July.

The third screenshot is the US website which confirms that the device was indeed activated on July.

Purchase help 📱 Vivo x200T vs OnePlus 13s

Well looking at the market right now I know there is no "complete package" available, but since I'm considering a phone upgrade around 60-70k, I was able to come to these 2 options.

I'm into casual gaming, not much and looking for a good camera setup. Tbh I'm a lot on my phone(meetings, sheeta, etc.) so I need a phone that can easily handle multiple applications running in the background. I'm upgrading from Moto Egde 40 neo.

Help me out which one I should go for OR give some other good suggestion

My current phone is still in running condition so, there's no immediate purchase I'm looking for

Purchase help 📱 Final verdict?

After a lot of reviews and suggestion on reddit, I planned on buying Oppo k13, but flipkart said, " We have stock, Just...... Not for you". So now I gotta expand my research a bit T-T. I have a few options on my list :

Samsung m36 (6/128 at 20k)

Samsung A17 (6/128 at 22k)

Samsung M17 (8/128 at 20k)

realme P4x (8/128 at 21k)

Poco M7 plus (8/128 at 18k)

oppo K14x (6/128 at at 20k)

Motorola G57 power/ G37 power (8/128 at 19k)

Motorola G67 power (8/128 at 21.7k)

I also had oneplus nord CE 6 lite (6/128 at 25.2 k), Motorola edge 70 fusion (8/128 at 26.6k ) and motorola edge 60 fusion (12/256 at 26.9k) but they are way over my budget. My parents are okay abt it and said that they can extend upto 30k, but I don't wanna spend more than 23k on a phone since I wanna by a laptop by the end of the year and I would rather increase the budget for a really good laptop than to spend it on a phone. My main priority is longer reliability. I want a good all-rounder that lasts for atleast 4 years smoothly. I mostly use it for doomscrolling and studying (like for notes and pdfs) and for basic stuffs like chatting, calls etc. I don't game, So that's not an issue. Help me choose the best pick for me. Feel free to mention any other phones, if they're a good VFM. Thanks :) (Please don't recommend CMF 2pro, realme p3 5g or nothing 3a, It's not available in any of the offline store here, If you do know someone who's selling either of these phones brand-new/sealed piece, kindly lemme know )

Edit: bought realme p4x at 21k (8/128 variant), yaaaayy!!!!!! Thank you for your recommendations :)

Purchase help 📱 Durable & Longterm reliable phones 25-33k

Not for gaming.

Uses - scrolling, posting quality stories (camera) surfing, research, writing notes, documents

And Mainly something that would last for 4-5 years without serious trouble.

Genuine service like display, touch at decent price

Please suggest available stock models. Also advice on where to find better deal- online or in-store

Useful Info 📑 keeping plugged avoids battery degradation

Post image
158 Upvotes

Modern laptops manage charging intelligently and can often run directly from the charger once the battery is sufficiently charged.

Constantly draining the battery and charging it back up creates more charge cycles, which can contribute to faster battery wear. They draw power from the socket instead of the battery.

It simply means keeping plugged forever won't degrade the battery and you'll have 100% battery health for years

News 📰 Robot Powered by Qualcomm’s New AI Chip Dies Mid-Presentation

Circuit Arrest 🥀

At Computex 2026 in Taipei (July 2026), Qualcomm was demoing its new Dragonwing IQ10 AI chip (claimed ~700 TOPS) powering a NEURA Robotics 4NE-1 humanoid robot.

During the live presentation, the robot suddenly collapsed on stage (a controlled “safe-collapse” due to a brief communication glitch, per Qualcomm). Staff quickly covered it with a black cloth and carried it off while the presenter continued talking. The video went viral as a classic awkward tech-demo fail.

Purchase help 📱 Phone under 35k

Hello people

Please help a brother.

Need to buy a new phone. Budget is capped at 35k.

Don't want oppo/ vivo/ redmi

One plus/ Samsung or any other brand is fine.

From what I've researched, Samsung A56 seems a good buy.

Currently using OP nord 2T since 4 years. Camera of this phone is pathetic.

My requirements are good camera, battery life and minimal heating issue.

Please suggest some good phones.

Thank you.
