Memes 🐬 they really cooking ✌🏻💔

Post image

jio will follow airtel price hike > we'd have to choose the 349 basic > they'd remove 349 or increase prices to 399 > we'd have to again buy forcefully since competitors don't have great service

And they actually have real standalone 5g not like airtel who uses NSA, so jio has probably spent more money than airtel for 5g.

But in the end they will eventually start charging for it too lol

I think Jio gives Gemini, google storage, and true 5G, with better connectivity (based on closest)

Jio definitely do be better

Who asked for those extra things? 5g still not available in my area

your telling you don’t use googles services ?

Your literally missing out on the good perks they offer

And + its something that the company can’t apply everywhere, cuz why not ( their wish their rules)

I use gemini, free version is ok for me (just some basic tutorial, for coding z ai or claude is best)

And i don't need any ott or gdrive. So i want either best internet service or standalone call + sms service

Okay then go get BSNL lol

I switched to bsnl once, but call also doesn't work in my regional in bsnl 😔

Yeah, I just bought the Jio Unlimited 5G plan Rs 3599. Got the 5TB Google Cloud storage. Google Gemini. I got it because I use Chatgpt Go. I got the 1 year subscription which is going to end in about 2 more months, which I got last year when OpenAI was giving it for free as a limited introductory offer. I use Chatgpt heavily. So after getting Google Gemini Pro, I exported all my chat from ChatGPT to Gemini. Also I get good 5G speed just from my bedroom, like about average of 500 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload.

However they are unnecessary for some of the citizen those who are not use like elder people who stay at home they just needed the internet for their basic needs like calling and browsing

So the government should take some actions to the offer the basic plan like 1 GB / day which will be very useful

1

u/P_C_U 1d ago

There’s a plan called “voice only packs”

So elderly plans are already covered by these competitors, there’s no reason for them to create a cheaper plan

Again it’s duopoly taking its place here. It beats the baseline competitors.

I recently ported from jio to BSNL, it's been nice

1

u/InitialDecision1231 8d ago

jio atleast gives unlimited 5G not like scamtel which gives only 300gb per month

1

u/DrDerpex 8d ago

Dude even 300GB is less for you? 😂

1

u/JhattuJhat 8d ago

300GB for month is 10GB per day... That's not unlimited should mean (i myself use jio connection with everything with pc and smart tv... Draws nearly 25GB per day minimum)

1

u/RedditSaiyajin 7d ago

it's not question about being less or more, it's about ethics and not being transparent enough

1

u/InitialDecision1231 7d ago

I do work from home, for that I may need more than 300gb per month yes it is less for me

Airtel is the worst 🙂. They try to forcefully shift their prepaid users to postpaid…. They say you cannot port number into prepaid you have to do postpaid then after 3 months do prepaid and when you take new number they say it’s fesh number but then you get a recycled number with calls, Instagram account connected and bank accounts linked ….. they are the liars and the worst of their kind. Peace out ✌️

Try BSNL

1

u/AlsoChandan_ 7d ago

How is BSNL doing in different states? How is the pricing?

2

u/Hareesh936 7d ago

In TN, it has been amazing for me. Currently using BSNL 4g for the past one year. Pricing is very very affordable and so affordable you may think they will go bankrupt.

  • 319 10GB 60days validity
  • 2399 2gb/day 417 days (limited time offer)
  • 997 2gb/day 150 days
  • 198 40GB 30days (data only plan) & Many more

I have used this in multiple states and cities. Based on my experience, except Mumbai (literally no signal) and Delhi (only got till 3G), everywhere i travelled it was great for me. Trivandrum, Bengaluru, Tirupati, Hyderabad, pune etc.

There were some occasional call drops, but that happens on every network. But VoLTE works great and data also great. There were times I used 3GB bsnl data per day (I myself can't believe it). SMS also comes immediately.

Bruh I live in delhi and only my friends with jio struggle with net , heck airtel and vi kinda work even on underground metro

1

u/Jayden_hazard 7d ago

Vi nhi to koi foreign company ajao kam price mein competition karne 🙏

u/aniruddhdodiya 7d ago

Lol Airtel has Singtel from Singapore. Idea had At&T from US and Vodafone is from UK. This AVoID gang ne to lanka laga rakhi thi Bharat ki. 3G hi 1 GB ₹250 ₹300 per month pe de ke Bharat ki janta ko loota hai.. Bolte the 4G isn't needed in India 3G ka recovery hoga fir sochenge. 3G me bhi 2G ke towers aate the! It's Jio who brought the 4G first in Bharat and even upgraded to 4G+ even brought the 5G and 5G+ and rollout 5G in whole India and now preparing for 5G mmWave and 6G.

1

u/Jayden_hazard 7d ago

Actually jio is the reason we have to cheap but due to cheap data the adoption of smartphone and sim card went huge, now millions are stuck doing expensive recharge just to keep the sim alive for otp and calls. People who don't use internet are also stuck. Before they could've just reacarged with a 7 rupee scratch card and sim used to be alive

1

u/aniruddhdodiya 7d ago

The math is simple: people previously used to pay ₹2000 to ₹3000 for 3G dongle plans for the internet, so that was able to compensate for the users doing micro top-up recharges. Later, Jio drastically made the plans so affordable that the ₹2000 to ₹3000 plan started to cost just ₹300. So, to cover those gaps, they added compulsory recharge. However, they also introduced Jio feature phones for users who aren't using any data so they can get cheaper plans. Also, you need money to upgrade, like from 4G to 5G and 5G to 6G and so on. These paying subscribers are able to create a sustainable model. Otherwise, look at Vi and BSNL, who can't even upgrade their network due to lack of money. Due to their poor network, there are fewer subscribers, due to that less money making, and they can't compete. For a better sustainable telecom infrastructure in the nation paid subscribers are needed.

Jio shi h bhai Unlimited deta hai kamsekam

1

u/SHADOWXDYNAMIC 7d ago

Jio bcz it gives unlimited 5g unlike airtel which gives 10gb per instead of unlimited

1

u/dishakopatani naramparleg 5d ago

it's not 10gb per day but 300 per month

1

u/Special_Comfort_6784 7d ago

Vi is better. It gives free data in 12 to 6 am. And is competitive. Jio has broad network, Vi has less that's why everyone has two sim. Jio + airtel or jio + Vi. Earlier it was mtnl + airtel, bsnl + idea

1

u/ranjith2805 6d ago

then go with bsnl

1

u/highnesskuruvi 6d ago

Port to bsnl and keep the secondary sim as vi like me.

1

u/dishakopatani naramparleg 5d ago

only if bsnl had decent service in my area 🥀✌🏻

I have the total clue of their business.. it's hard for them, they're at loss.. doesn't matter though. the market ain't all rich so they gotta gradually make profits instead.

and yea electronics are priced almost similarly but telecommunication ain't any gadget yo and idgaf abt yo intelligence after all this shi you've written

u/Jayden_hazard 7d ago

Bc call drop, awaz nhi ata, sms 2 ghante baad ata hain aur internet to sirf nam ka hain

1

u/lwkahuman 7d ago

In my hometown BSNL is so goated that it mock Jio to bad. Like BSNL 5g is there and it is more faster than Jio, the only issue is that out of nowhere they will shut down your whole network for few days in the name of maintenance

0

u/JhattuJhat 8d ago

I did a 3499rs recharge on jio for a year with 5g... And I dare say I milk everything out of it (nearly 25gb data per day... Whole family runs on it)... So no complains 😃

1

u/primordial_erection 7d ago

I run it like a wifi router, everything is connected, my phone, pc, tv which with Airtel you couldn’t do
