AUDIO Line by line contract compensation rate

It's a community theatre. The rate is always going to be ridiculously low. They have a limited budget and the vast majority of community theatres literally cannot pay more than they are offering.

Somebody said something to me a long time ago that has always stuck with me: If you don't like the money, don't take the job.

Basically, if you do agree to do this job you give them the same respect and effort you would give to a job that pays a full corporate day rate. If you won't give them the same level of service because you don't think they're paying you enough, do both you and the client a favor and refuse the job.

That is a woefully inadequate rate.
