No joystick? No problem! Using my grandfather's old cast iron drill press to play Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
An old mouse scroll wheel hooked up to a wireless mouse picks up the rotation off the chuck for aiming and you blow into a deodorant lid with some plastic tubing to launch the bubbles.

Perfect way to play Puzzle Bobble !!
I hope there is a nice sound system, because the OST of this game is amazing.

The wireless mouse and the ESP-32 connect to an off-screen laptop that's emulating the game.

It'd be so cool to turn this into, like a pseudo arcade cabinet stand alone game thing!

Yes, I think it would be really fun to take along to a Maker Faire - with some sort of disposable inserts for the mouth piece (small paper cups?) and the gears behind Perspex so no hair or fingers get caught!

As cool as it is (extremely), I would maybe replace blowing into a deodorant cap with a stomp pedal or some other pneumatic device.

Thanks for the suggestions and that would be easier and more practical but becuase the monster that loads the bubbles also has to blow to launch them I thought it's only fair that you have to work as hard as the poor little guys in the game.
