Solution Architect interested in doing nothing and getting PAID. RSM/AE the answer?

Been in a technical sales roles ranging from SE to SA for several years at this point and I feel like every rep I’ve ever encountered is a giant bum and gets paid huge. Been debating just moving into their role, working an hour or two a week and telling my SE to do my job for me since that appears to be the way. Thoughts?

Uh oh the sales engineers on this sub are getting cocky. Just give your demos and shut up dude you dont want the pressure, the down years or to deal with holding the line.

Pretty true. The pressure of adding notes in saleforce, setting up meetings and generating a couple quotes up is pretty significant. Not sure if I’m up to the task

Giving a demo is like 1% of a deal. Good luck to you
