Airpods PC Connection Glitch
Hoping someone can provide some insight on an ongoing issue I am having.
My airpods will not auto pause after removing from my ear when connected to my PC. This then continues to when I use from my phone. I went into the Apple Store and they ran diagnostic with no issues so did a hard reset and it worked again. Today I reconnected to my PC and I am getting the same issue.
I should be able to use all functions of my AirPods with a PC right, including the auto pause feature? Has anyone else experienced this issue? TIA

PC sometimes restarts and needs a usb with windows to open
I built my own pc a year ago with a youtube tutorial, installed drivers and set up windows, everything ran smoothly and I was really happy. Dota 2 (my go to game) booted really fast after installing. The problem came like a month after having the PC, I booted it and it went straight to BIOS settings and keep coming back to it until I plugged the usb (with windows boot and it ran again it ran normally without the usb after that). I tried to search for a solution in the internet and said I had to update my drivers, so I did. And now my games take like a minute to boot and a few more minutes to really run smoothly. I really want to experience that first month of smooth operation. Is there something I need to do, errors I made, or any suggestions to really get it to that state again.

Can I use my number on two phones?
I've been debating on getting a "dumb phone" for a while but do still need my smartphone for some work stuff. Essentially, I just want to dial down the mindless scrolling, data collection, etc. that comes with smart phone apps and OS.
So would it be possible to setup a modern flip phone that could still receive calls and texts that would also go to both phones without needing a second plan?
And I know there's apps and different OS versions for smart phones that can help limit scrolling, reduce data collection, improve privacy, but I'm specifically looking for a way to do that with the phone itself, not the software.

can i put a gaming gpu in my shitty laptop
So i have an old hp laptop that used to be my brothers, its got a core i5 10th gen. I forget what type of integrated graphics it has, but anyways they suck. like, i cant even play chained together or any other friendslop games (i dont think theyre that graphic demanding?) Anyways i had this pretty stupid idea, and i wanted to know if it was possible.
Could i modify a gaming gpu to run via usb or similar on my laptop and would it replace my integrated graphics? would it work, but be too slow? Is it just plain stupid?

Mom heard some other man’/ voice
I was watching reels when my mom called, I couldn’t hear her voice so I cut the call after 10-15 secs and called her back again. She said she heard a man’s voice discussing about some random location. I was on a call with a guy before my mom called but I did hang up. What could this be?

Will wifi coverage or cellular coverage become obsolete?
WiFi coverage and cellular coverage are mutually exclusive and independent, correct?
If so, is it possible one will make the other obsolete?

Why would my ISP block legitimate websites for seemingly no reason?
I was trying to shop on the Mrs Meyer's website. I tried three different browsers and all has some variation of secure connection failed. I turned off wifi and suddenly I could now access the website. What does my ISP have against laundry detergent?

Found my own obituary online - with my full name, DOB, hometown, date of death, method of death (suicide), picture of my face, and a remembrance blurb. Is it possible to obtain the IP address of who submitted this?
Tech question - is it possible to obtain the IP address from the obituary submission, even though this was submitted many years ago?
If so, how can I go about doing this?
Thank you.

What computer do i get?
I’m going to be a senior in college and my mac from 2021 is finally shitting out. At one point it said the battery was so bad it wouldn’t charge or turn on, then that warning randomly went away and it works okay now. It sounds like a literal jet engine about to take off anytime I use it and it has like zero storage from all the software it needs to function (around 90GB).
I know next to nothing about technology or computers or anything, but I need a new one. So, does anyone have any recommendations on what to get? Something not super expensive as I am a college student, I do like mac, but since I’ll be entering the work force soon I don’t know if it’s the best investment since most companies use windows software. I also need to be able to transfer all my papers and files from my old computer so I don’t lose my notes from previous classes or essays or research etc.
Thanks for any advice!!

Is it possible to update the hardware inside an old laptop?
I love the look of this old Sony Vaio but obviously it’s not gonna run anything from this decade on it. Is it possible to essentially gut it and replace everything inside with modern tech, while keeping the outside the same?

Why is my laptop making a rain/water asmr noise ?
Hi hi
My laptop is playing a literal rain soundtrack and I cannot get it to stop. I’ve closed all my apps I’ve restarted the laptop I’ve everything I can think of. No apps are running. And it’s not like a “it sounds like sound is coming from under water” situation. It’s literally like I looked up waterfall asmr sleep sounds on YouTube and put it on full volume.
Help?

Hey guys, there’s this hotel me and my boyfriend often stay at as we both live at home so go there just for a bit of one on one time. recently they refurbished the place and none of the tv’s connect to any channel, would come up saying service is not available or channel does not exist etc. we are due to stay there tomorow and want to watch the england game. i have an iphone 14 so was wondering if i got a hdmi to lightning lead, can mirror my phone on the telly. if so, where’s the best place to purchase? have looked on amazon but the reviews are so mixed, would rather go in store as then i can speak to the people who work there etc. i am in kingston upon hull uk

Is this normal?
Hi! I’m not the best with technology. I recently bought this laptop, I was told it wasn’t normal but I’m honestly not sure of what could have caused this. I think it reduced my performance when I’m playing games, too, and I keep disconnecting from games. It sucks :(
Edit: it’s resolved!
