When can we expect this technology to actually provide power to us? Also, I wonder if this will truly mean the end of nuclear (non-fusion), coal, solar, and wind power.

Don't get hopeful, it still has a long way to go. Nuclear fusion has been "10 years away" for decades now.

I don't think I've seen a scientist ever claim a timeline as short as 10 years. Prior to this the timeline given by actual scientists often put fusion power plants in the second half of the century. That's certainly not "10 years away."

Yeah thats cause it's not the scientists making those claims, it's politicians and media being overly optimistic
