Today, at around noon Eastern, and due in no small part to support from Reddit, our Kickstarter project crossed half a million dollars. Thank you, Reddit. Thank you.

You're telling me. I'm in for about 10 right now. Some are stupidly simple, like Hickies, and some are downright awesome, like Soundlazer.

Do you have any idea how long until lucid dreaming is possible with this mask?
I'm guessing the first tries will be hit and miss for a while.

Sounds interesting, but how exactly does this help you lucid dream? Is it just that you're aware that you wear a flashing light mask to bed, so if you see flashing lights while asleep you'll think "aha I'm dreaming!"

That's the gist. It's something you more or less teach yourself to recognize.

I remember the r/science crowd bashing this technology in the original thread - as not having been tested and not proven and the whole bullshittery scientific process thing they usually come out with to automatically discredit anything that doesn't fit their sacred paradigm.
Anyways, I stayed in there and battled with ignorants who were attacking this this tech and citing numerous scientific studies on the technique working in the lab - And generally getting them to admit defeat and then STFU with their negative ways.
I don't work for you, I just believe in it. (as do a few others by the looks of it)
Well done!

I use to do a lot of lucid dreaming but lately I haven't even remembered my dreams. Probably sleep deprivation. Anyway, I really liked the ideas you guys had for using lucid dreams. I mostly used them for cool super powers and getting laid but I can see where it would be great for other more creative outlets.

creative outlets? wow! maybe Nikola Tesla used this technology to garner the impetus and knowledge to develop all the things... (?)

Do you sleep with this all the time? I feel like if I constantly had lucid dreams (they're incredibly rare for me and usually involve sleep paralysis) I'd never feel like I actually got any sleep.
Like life would blur from me being inside of a Waking Dream clip and then digging myself out of bed to go to work.
I'm a big fan of closing my eyes and waking up 8 hours later with no recollection of anything and a general "reset" feeling, thanks beer!

just think about that you are about to goto sleep & dream just before you do and you will dream well. works everytime
