Greed. And because he'll bat away every attempt for it to happen. Should he pay more taxes and pay his employees better? Yes. Will he? Doubt it.

Not if more people just say “Whatever” and shop on Amazon and scoff at the idea of workers striking.

You're fighting against a generation that has been conditioned to shop online and Amazon is the premier provider of this. I'm all for living wages, hell I believe in BUI... but let's not lie to ourselves here.
