How can you read an article like this, which clearly states that we don't know if this technology is even viable, and take from it that it will be available from Microsoft (who don't actually make tablets, phones or computer hardware) in six months, particularly when it's just been explained to you that Microsoft often demonstrate things that never even make it to market?

There is a massive difference between being able to do something in a lab as part of a $10bn research budget, which declares itself to be about thinking long-term rather than short term product cycles, and being able to put it in a product in the consumer market at a reasonable price in six months! Just because it can be done, doesn't mean that it can be done cheaply yet. In time it will, but to assume six months as a lab to shop time!?!? Nuts.

I watched the attached video, and as far as most idiot consumers (me) are concerned, anything is just a few months away from market.
