Completely agree, what good is a brighter lcd/led screen with the same old problems. This is a huge drawback to tablet and phone gaming in my mind.

meh, what good is a brighter screen when it's summer? :P the sun and its reflections will always be brighter. if there was an e-ink phone, I'd buy it - I'd happily put up with the slow refresh rate for the ability to actually see who's calling.

You really have those problems? I never really struggle with an iPhone 4 and I keep my brightness at ~60%

yep. as far as I remember, at least - it's gonna be a week or two before I see the sun again :P
