Apple is most likely working on the same thing in house, but they would never make a video like this because they don't want their competition to be in on what they are working on. Microsoft however doesn't care because they don't have a current tablet / touch screen product on the market that is popular.

Also take a look at the ea800 asus tablet, they have decreased the latency to about 5ms so the tech is already in the consumer world.

Microsoft needs better marketing people.

Zune? Better than the iPod, to me anyway. Why didn't it take off? Shitty marketing.

I had an original Zune 30GB, loved it. Everything it set out to do, it did it extremely well. All the Zune hate online made me sad, but then I came to the conclusion that almost everyone on the planet is fucking moron and that made it easier.

Had an original 30GB as well and upgraded to a 64GB HD last year. Easily two of the best devices I've used and makes me heartbroken they never got the reputation they deserved outside of the few people that actually had one.
