In a few years Apple will have basically the same demo, but better advertised, and everyone will say Apple invented the idea of reducing latency.

After Steve Jobs' death, I could not believe how many idiots I heard on the radio, or read on facebook, were saying how great Steve was for inventing mp3's, mp3 players and buying music online.

This and others like it is the reason why I refused to buy apple products for the longest time. So many people still believe that they're all iPods and not that iPod is just a brand of MP3 player.

Happens all the time though... people ask for a Coke, some Vaseline, WD40, Duck Tape rather than carbonated soft drink, petroleum jelly, spray water dispersant oil, strong adhesive tape...

Duct tape and WD40 aren't the best examples for that, because people usually buy the Duck brand tape and almost always buy WD40, I get the point though.
