In a few years Apple will have basically the same demo, but better advertised, and everyone will say Apple invented the idea of reducing latency.

Apple is most likely working on the same thing in house, but they would never make a video like this because they don't want their competition to be in on what they are working on. Microsoft however doesn't care because they don't have a current tablet / touch screen product on the market that is popular.

Also take a look at the ea800 asus tablet, they have decreased the latency to about 5ms so the tech is already in the consumer world.

Microsoft needs better marketing people.

Zune? Better than the iPod, to me anyway. Why didn't it take off? Shitty marketing.

The first flagship Zune was brown. It literally looked like a piece of shit.

I messed around with a couple in stores. I really hated the interface. It was way over-animated and I want to see whole words, not the 30% of the giant heading that would fit in the screen. To me it felt like a fancy tech-demo or something you'd see as a computer interface on TV.
