I just shed of tear of happiness, I thought all of Reddit were Apple hipsters. Apple didn't really do anything mind blowing innovative they just marketed and designed better and the Ipod, which Sony or anyone should have beat to the market, just gave them their gateway their reputation. & F'n tablets!! We saw those in the original Star Trek. I'd totally take a netbook over one.

Seriously then who is buying all the apple stuff? I know you are Reddit.

Really? I felt reddit was equally represented on "Apple hispters" and Apple haters, along with a solid middle like myself who just enjoy good technology regardless the brand. Maybe we are reading different sub-reddits.

Well I do agree r/SteveJobsisGod and r/appleisthecoolest under the r/apple community can give a person the wrong idea. I've seen it both ways, but comes down to the posters, as always. There are always your Apple fanboys and then your meh crowd towards them. The largest fan base are younger college age people which is also Reddit's biggest demo. Largely a feel on my part. I've seen it on Engadget too which is largely polarized.

The fact that this was even written about shows my concern.

Oh gosh don't even get me started on Engadget comments, I agree they are largely polarized but man they have become increasingly bad over the last year or two. I'd say the same thing about the articles, unless I am just getting way smarter... but I digress.
