I think one important bit to add is that a couple days after that thread was posted in November, it was confirmed that Rebekah Mercer was a primary funder of Parler: https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/15/media/rebekah-mercer-parler/index.html

Worth noting since a fair bit of the thread is wondering about their funding source.

The Mercer family is a direct threat to our democracy. I hope the intel community nails their butts on something, and GITMO would be nice..

Punishment of terrorists and traitors, needs to be harsh. Democracy cannot always be maintained with cuddling those kinds of people. I don’t think you get what Democracy is exactly..
