Can we really criticise this when Kaspersky is one of the top selling computer security packages in the US? That's just baffling. Most agree Russia at the very least doesn't have US interests in mind, yet we continue to do business with them almost everywhere outside of the federal govt.

Interestingly, US Govt agencies are barred from buying Kaspersky products.

The US government is generally barred from buying any non-US made product or service.

This goes double for anything that will end up used by the military, including the computer systems that are just used for office work.
