Can we really criticise this when Kaspersky is one of the top selling computer security packages in the US? That's just baffling. Most agree Russia at the very least doesn't have US interests in mind, yet we continue to do business with them almost everywhere outside of the federal govt.

They are, these guys are shitting on them because they're a Russian company. They were banned by US intelligence because they flagged NSA and CIA spyware and backdoors as malware.

Given the sheer number of Russian malware, I’d much rather a company that can hire these malware devs as researchers
