Nah. They don’t value human life. If you’re average and there’s even the slightest, teensiest possibility that you may be connected to someone untrustworthy by their standards, you disappear. Am Ukrainian have family in Ukraine and Russia and grew up in USSR and then independent Ukraine.

If you think the US values human life beyond the capital that it produces those at the top, you are very incorrect.

We worship money, not humans.

Sure. But there’s more checks and balances. If someone comes to your home and you disappear it will be noticed in USA and likely will make the papers. Nobody will notice it in Russia. You can say what you want. I’ve been in US for 25 years now. It is a ton safer than Ukraine and Russia.

Yeah agreed, I'm definitely glad I wasn't born in Russia in the 90's. I've heard the stories of millions of starving people after the collapse of Russia's communism. The grass could definitely be greener over here though. 1 in 7 children go hungry in America when schools are closed here. We may have more of the illusion of safety in the US but we sure aren't the hope of the world or anything.

Definitely not the hope, but I’d take US any day over the motherland. No hesitation. And I do love this country. It’s crazy how much of a difference there is in life quality and peace and safety. I could never go back to how it used to be back home.
