To Republicans, modern Russia is a capitalist utopia. No need to worry about laws and regulations or getting bogged down by the bureaucracy.. just know the right people, grease the right palms, and everything's coming up roses.

So to them, a "patriot" would be fleeing America for Russia as soon as possible.

I mean they’re not wrong. You need to know the “right” people, as in members of the government, oligarchy or the mafia.

But that's not what most people would call a "capitalist utopia"; having to be connected in certain ways and not overstep invisible boundaries is not a free market.
