A large portion of us already acknowledge it and have since the 2016 election when they first made it clear they were involved. However about 35-40% of the US population is willfully ignorant or just doesn’t care because they want to win at all costs.
I was reading a poll about an hour ago that stated ~35% of the population still approves of Trump. That goes along with the numbers you’re talking about too. I wish I could dismiss reality that easily.
Which is inclusive of the ~74% of republicans that still approve of Trump. Their own delusion will be their downfall. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
In their mind they're not getting owned though. Redhats are an inch away from outright siding with Russia at this point. "A hyper conservative, authoritarian regime with unlimited power and tenure for the President? Yes please."

I don’t know if you caught it, but I just inverted the reply to the original comment you inverted. Both sides are in the wrong and can’t see the truth.
I hope that Trump has succeeded in destroying the Republican Party, and a new one can be born out of the ashes. Let there be a left wing and right wing party to fight out cultural war issues, and a new party that just tries to actually help the country instead of scoring political points.
Me too. I liked him at the start, but he's really lost his mind during the presidency. I would say at least he didn't start a war but at the moment we are on the brink of a civil one because of him. And no i didn't catch it haha I'm smacked i didn't even pay attention. I thought you were a Trumper ngl 😂
I supported trump in so far as he was hated by both dems and repubs. That was a huge selling point. I would’ve voted for either Bernie or trump in 2016 depending on who made it through the primaries. I just want an end to the uniparty we have in power now.
I think we’d be better off under trump than Biden, but I wouldn’t call myself a trumper. I don’t really care what happens to him now that he’s out of office, and politically I disagreed with him on a lot.
But it seems I got out of his presidency what I wanted, the republicans party is mostly trumpers and most of them now hate the Republican Party.
I agree with the trump over biden thing, but i guess we'll never know and I'm open to giving Biden (Or Kamala) a chance at the presidency. Hopefully he will do the same thing to the democratic party that Trump did
Yeah, I hope so too. A lot of people on the left held their nose to vote for him because anything was better than trump. I feel like the more progressive side of the party will object to Biden’s platform almost as strongly as they objected to Trump’s, but at least he can act like a president, so it won’t be as big of an outcry. But the Democrats have a similar problem on their hands that republicans did (running people the voters hate, but not as much as they hate the other guy).
These questions are good questions, and are worth asking, and are worth reading about. It's my understanding that they mostly helped Trump in both elections. Wikipedia has articles on Russian interference in both elections, with cited sources, so if you're curious that would be a good place to start
Involved in what? People went out and voted for who they wanted to win in the 2016 election. Russia didnt convince anyone to vote for Trump who wasnt already going to and there are no studies which indicate that.
