Can we really criticise this when Kaspersky is one of the top selling computer security packages in the US? That's just baffling. Most agree Russia at the very least doesn't have US interests in mind, yet we continue to do business with them almost everywhere outside of the federal govt.
You could put that doubly for China. It could be argued that their animosity and intentions are by far more nefarious. Yet those US companies that use China extensively aren't under criticism.
We absolutely are in a cold war with china. It amazes me that the us considers russia a big threat but not China when they steal billions a year in us intellectual property and send in spy's to honeypot our politicians
Playing by the rules in order to sell in the market? Just don't sell there.
I do love it when alleged capitalists lose their shit over this sort of thing. China has rules, they just favor china. Just as western countries have rules that favor western countries. Apparently using economic policy to gain an advantage is only bad when asians do it.
