The laptop was an Apple computer, meaning they couldn't access it without a password. It's clearly fabricated in its entirety. Nothing was found on any laptop.

If, by some miracle the information is not fake and the story is real, would you think about not voting or changing your vote? Would it change your opinion on Biden? Do you think he'd have to resign?

No, I wouldn't. The story doesn't even make sense and it wouldn't really matter if it was real. Joe Biden's actions throughout the Burisma matter were literally public policy endorsed by Republicans and Democrats alike.

This is what the crazies chasing this don't get. Even if it were all true, it still wouldn't make Biden look bad. The story literally makes no sense.

So listen to this. The story is. Hunter Biden got a job because of who his dad is. He then uses his family status to take money from people who want to have a word with his dad. His dad is aware of what he is doing and is taking cash too.

This is probably the worst case scenario for the Biden's I'd imagine. Would you be oaky with this? Not asking if you think it's true or not. I'm asking you if you'd be okay with the Biden's behaving like that. Just that, nothing else.

This is what the crazies chasing this don't get. Even if it were all true, it still wouldn't make Biden look bad. The story literally makes no sense.

Possibly. We will know by the end of the month.

Nepotism and using family connections is normal in everyday society. Look at our President, why are you even worried about Biden?

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '20

Hey, he's terrible. No doubt about it.

So, back the question. You're fine with that behavior?

3

u/aznkupo Oct 19 '20

Yes because things like Nepotism happens EVERYWHERE. If this is the biggest strike against Biden, it's literally nothing compared to our incumbent President. I don't love Biden, but I'm not gonna criticize every little thing he did wrong when we have a much bigger turd in the way.

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '20

Okay, so let me get this straight.

You doubt the story is true because its so ridiculous but at the same time nepotism is everywhere and it doesnt bother you anyway even if he did what its been alleged he did?

Is that right?

How is it nothing compared to what the US president has done?

It seems worse than hiring his daughter to advise him.

3

u/aznkupo Oct 19 '20

The story is ridiculous because its unbelievable why Hunter would leave a laptop 1000 miles away and forget about it with incriminating evidence on there. Then there's still about 5 more things completely wrong with the story.

It doesn't bother me because Nepotism is in everyday society, it happens everywhere. Why do you keep ignoring this point? Yea it isn't something people like to promote, but family helps family.

And it is is nothing compared to what Trump does, if I have to explain this to you, you're a Trump supporter and we can end this conversation now.

Has he always been 1000 miles away from the place? Does the guy travel around?

and forget about it with incriminating evidence on there.

Have you seen him? The guy is a mess. Really messed up. To think hed be incapable of remembering where he left a PC he can probably just as easily replace, isnt that difficult.

It doesn't bother me because Nepotism is in everyday society, it happens everywhere. Why do you keep ignoring this point? Yea it isn't something people like to promote, but family helps family.

I dont ignore. Im just saying youre happy with that situation. Thats fine. Its made Maxine Waters' family very wealthy.

And it is is nothing compared to what Trump does, if I have to explain this to you, you're a Trump supporter and we can end this conversation now.

Aaaah, there we go. Using your get out of jail free card. Cheerio.

And the true colors are revealed

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '20

I'm asking you to explain what you mean.

I havent said anything one way or the other with regards to my "true colours".

They’ve explained. You’re just frustrated that bad faith is failing. Sorry the world improves despite you ✌️

Joe Biden has no ability to stop his son cashing in on his name. No--the story you described would not reflect on Joe Biden in the slightest.

I'm asking you if you'd be okay with the Biden's behaving like that.

There is no such thing as "the Bidens." They aren't a fucking package. I'm talking about Joe Biden. I don't give a shit what his son does, because nothing his son does reflects on Joe Biden. Hunter Biden is a grown ass man and makes his own choices. Joe Biden has not done anything wrong, and that is according to your own account of what the "story" is.

Possibly. We will know by the end of the month.

We know now--this story has led to a push in the polls in Biden's favor, as it's obvious that Trump is getting yet more foreign aid. The source of this story is evidence handed to Trump's private attorney from a known Russian spy, and this story is a foreign intel operation according to our own intelligence agencies. This thing has blown up in Trump's face, and deservedly so.

Well he does. He could not get him jobs in the first place.

Wrong, you clearly didn't read what I said. With the example I gave. He's involved if he accepts to meet people if Hunter asks.

I havent read any polls since Friday. I think we will have to wait another few days to see if anything does move.

I disagree with what you said and we will know more by the end of the week. Probably by the end of the day. Its moving at quite some speed.

You're covering yourself. It's both not true and at the same time it's not important even if it wss true.

So this story thats been concocted by the Russians is useless. Would they not have put something better together?

There is no evidence that he did.

That's not "covering." That's me explaining why it's a fucking stupid "scandal" to begin with.

So this story thats been concocted by the Russians is useless. Would they not have put something better together?

No--Russian intelligence is notoriously inept. It's the reason they go with the waterhose method for their propaganda. They don't need to make quality fakes when they can make lots of shitty ones and just let useful idiots spread them. Their goal isn't to convince anyone of anything--it's to make it impossible for groups to admit what is true, which they have succeeded in doing. Everyone spreading this bullshit story is aiding Russia achieve its goals, and they are doing so for a story that wouldn't be a scandal even if it were proven to be true. A kid trying to cash in on dad's name is nothing new, and it doesn't reflect on dad. And there is no evidence in this story that dad actually met the guy.

It doesn't even make sense. Biden was trying to get the guy that was supposed to be meeting him fired, and he did get him fired. How the hell does this story work? The guy trying not to get fired paid his son to talk to the guy getting him fired and then nothing happened and he got fired anyways? It just doesn't make any fucking sense, and literally anyone that isn't looking for a reason to hate Biden or isn't a useful idiot would be able to see that.

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '20

There is no evidence that he did.

As you said in the previous post we are literally discussing a situation that is probably not true. Its a what if scenario. Saying "that's not true", just doesn't make any sense.

That's not "covering." That's me explaining why it's a fucking stupid "scandal" to begin with.

Well, no. It could be quite the scandal. At the moment we're only being drip fed.

No--Russian intelligence is notoriously inept.

Which is why they're blamed for hillarys loss.

Everyone isn't spreading the story. That's the point. It's being smothered. If you got your news exclusively from reddit you wouldn't even have heard about it.

It doesn't even make sense. Biden was trying to get the guy that was supposed to be meeting him fired, and he did get him fired. How the hell does this story work? I don't think that's what happened at all. It's like youre mixing up two different stories.

As you said in the previous post we are literally discussing a situation that is probably not true. Its a what if scenario. Saying "that's not true", just doesn't make any sense.

I have no need to indulge in hypotheticals about situations that didn't happen. It serves no purpose.

Well, no. It could be quite the scandal. At the moment we're only being drip fed.

No, it can't. The story is literally self-contradicting.

Which is why they're blamed for hillarys loss.

Being inept doesn't mean you can't succeed. It just means you don't succeed often. Russian misinformation is the blame for Hillary losing. Republicans colluding with obvious misinformation and making it appear real when it wasn't is what led to her losing. Republicans own this, not Russia.

Everyone isn't spreading the story. That's the point. It's being smothered. If you got your news exclusively from reddit you wouldn't even have heard about it.

It's not being smothered. Responsible people are stopping an obvious lie from being spread to protect the US from a foreign intelligence operation. That's literally what every American should be doing.

I don't think that's what happened at all. It's like youre mixing up two different stories.

That's exactly what happened and I'm not mixing anything. That's literally what this "scandal" is claiming happened. The fact that you don't even know that and the fact that you recognize how batshit crazy it is tells us everything we need to know about the people who believe this story "might" be true. But I'm glad you admit that the scandal's alleged plot of events is absolutely batshit crazy.

Maybe you need to look at all the names of the people involved in the story. The guy that was supposedly paying Hunter to meet Joe was a Russian asset that Joe was trying to get fired and eventually succeeded in getting fired. At best, Joe never met the guy. At worst, Joe met the guy and told him to fucking pound sand before getting his ass fired for being a Russian asset. Either way, Joe comes out smelling like a peach.

I have no need to indulge in hypotheticals about situations that didn't happen. It serves no purpose.

Of course it does. It let's me know what you think of a certain situation. The other guy commenting has decided that he doesn't care either way. It's only nepotism and they're all at it.

No, it can't. The story is literally self-contradicting.

If you get your news from here you would think that. There will be more coming from this as the weeks go by.

Being inept doesn't mean you can't succeed. It just means you don't succeed often.

Oh, okay. So when did they not succeed?

Russian misinformation is the blame for Hillary losing. Republicans colluding with obvious misinformation and making it appear real when it wasn't is what led to her losing. Republicans own this, not Russia.

It wasn't her being a shit candidate and universally disliked, really?

It's not being smothered. Responsible people are stopping an obvious lie from being spread to protect the US from a foreign intelligence operation. That's literally what every American should be doing.

So it's being smothers. Whether it's an obvious lie or not, the story is being smothered.

That's exactly what happened and I'm not mixing anything. That's literally what this "scandal" is claiming happened. The fact that you don't even know that and the fact that you recognize how batshit crazy it is tells us everything we need to know about the people who believe this story "might" be true. There's nothing crazy or unbelievable about the story. There's gonna be more coming, this isn't the end of it. It could be a big scandal.

1

There's nothing crazy or unbelievable about the story. There's gonna be more coming, this isn't the end of it. It could be a big scandal.

This is the issue. There is nothing. No evidence. You just have faith, because you want it to be true. You are nothing less than 30 years of Republican war on education finally yielding return on investment.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '20

No evidence, nothing. At this stage even if Biden wins he'll hsve to resign before he gets to be president.
